Oleksandr I. Artemuk

Born on September 11, 1977, in the city of Kovel, Volyn region. In 1992, he graduated from the 9th grade of Kovel Secondary School No. 2, then attended Kovel Vocational Technical School No. 5. He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After returning from service, he worked as a driver for some time, then engaged in private business. In April 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 51st Separate Guards Perekop-Kharkiv Prague-Volyn Order of Lenin, twice Order of the Red Banner, Order of Suvorov and Kutuzov Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine. He was buried on May 27, 2014, in the city cemetery of Kovel.
