Oleksandr I. Chernenko

Volunteer. School teacher. After finishing school, he worked as a locksmith apprentice, then as an electrician, completed his mandatory military service, and got married. He graduated from the mechanical and technological college in Odesa. He held the position of electrician at the collective farm "May 1st." For a long time, he worked at the Veselokut oil depot. For the last 8 years, he worked as a labor education and civil defense teacher at Novoborysivska secondary school. He engaged in beekeeping, carpentry, and was fond of hunting. He went to the military enlistment office several times, but he was not accepted due to his age and health condition. Then Oleksandr Ivanovych went to the front as a volunteer.
