Biography
Chuyko Oleksandr Oleksandrovych was born on October 9, 1993, in the town of Antoniny, Krasyliv Raion, in the Khmelnytskyi region. After graduating from the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force named after Ivan Kozhedub, he began his service in the 18th Separate Brigade of Army Aviation named after Ivan Sikorsky. In 2017, he participated in a UN peacekeeping mission in the Republic of Congo. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. With the onset of the large-scale Russian invasion, he resumed combat missions. He was killed on March 6, 2022, in Mykolaiv Oblast when Russian aggressors shot down two helicopters of the 18th Separate Brigade of Army Aviation. Farewell to the fallen was held on March 17, 2022, in the city of Poltava, near the Holy Assumption Cathedral. He was buried in the Glory Alley of the "Sukhyi Yar" cemetery in the city of Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.Burial place
