Biography
Oleksandr Ruslanovich Harbuz was born on July 2, 2002, in the village of Hubynykha, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 2017, he graduated from the 9th grade of Hubynykha Secondary School No. 2, and in 2020, he graduated from the Pereshchepyne Vocational Lyceum with a specialty in "Farm Worker". On November 20, 2021, he signed a contract for military service and became a soldier of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar". He underwent training at the training center and took the position of an anti-tank missile system operator in the anti-tank platoon of a mechanized battalion. During the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he was an anti-tank missile system operator. With the help of the "Corsar" anti-tank missile system, Oleksandr destroyed a total of about ten enemy combat vehicles. On the night of March 16, 2022, in the Kharkiv region, the "Kholodnyi Yar" soldiers began a small operation aimed at capturing an enemy position from which a tank was firing at Ukrainian soldiers. Oleksandr was part of the reconnaissance group and, together with his comrade Hacker, was taken prisoner. On March 24, 2022, after the liberation of the village of Husarivka, Balakliya district, the body of Oleksandr Harbuz, killed by gunshots to the head with traces of torture, was found by the Ukrainian military.Burial place
