- 34-year-old soldier Oleksandr Inyakin (call sign Tykhyi) was killed on July 24, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Verkhnokamianske in the Donetsk region. The defender received a fatal head wound during an enemy tank shelling. Oleksandr was born and lived in the city of Myrnohrad in the Donetsk region. He graduated from school there and then obtained a mining profession as a guide. He worked in a mine, most recently at the Pokrovsk Mine Management. He loved loud music and working on car repairs. However, his children always came first, and he devoted all his free time to them. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion, he received a summons and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought for his homeland as part of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. He held the position of a shooter-paramedic. He participated in the defense of his native Donetsk region. "We have been together since I was 15. Oleksandr was 17 then. He was my first boyfriend and the father of our two children. He was very polite, kind, and fair. Family always came first for him; his children were his pride. He had many friends and was always there to help everyone. He was our sunshine, and now that he is gone, we live as if in a fog, in constant darkness. People like him are one in a million. He was the best at everything. When he was called up, he didn't hesitate and immediately went to protect our family. He always said, 'Who, if not us?'. Even on the front lines, he didn't forget to support the family, although he himself was not in the best conditions. He was simply the best," said the wife of the fallen, Nadiia. Oleksandr was buried at the Alley of Glory in the Ozirka cemetery in his hometown of Myrnohrad. He is survived by his parents, wife, and two sons, who were 9 and 6 years old at the time of their father's death.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
