Oleksandr V. Lukianovych

Lukyanovych Oleksandr Volodymyrovych was born on February 20, 1989, in the village of Postupel, Ratne District, Volyn Region. He worked as an electrician on the railway. Since 2021, he served under contract in the 14th Mechanized Brigade. During a battle near Kyiv, he neutralized up to thirty units of enemy equipment. On February 25, 2022, he was mortally wounded during an enemy airstrike. He is buried in the city of Volodymyr, Volyn Region. He is survived by his wife, daughter, and son. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as loyalty to the military oath, Lukyanovych Oleksandr Volodymyrovych was posthumously awarded the title of "Hero of Ukraine" with the Order of the Golden Star.
