- Alexander Pustovoyt (call sign Professor), a scout, was killed in action on July 28, 2022, near the village of Norcivka, near Izium in the Kharkiv region. He was traveling with a comrade on a combat mission when their vehicle hit a hostile anti-tank mine. Both were killed. Alexander was forever 35 years old. Alexander was born in the city of Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk region. At the age of 5, he moved with his parents to Crimea. He stu in a Ukrainian class at school. In 2003, he enrolled in the East Ukrainian National University named after Volodymyr Dahl in Luhansk. There he met his love and got married in 2007. He worked as an engineer for video surveillance and security at the "Special Automation" company in Luhansk. In 2011, his daughter Varya was born. Alexander worked a lot and did everything to ensure his family was well-provided and happy. In 2014, after the occupation of Luhansk, he moved with his family to Dnipro. The following year, Alexander was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in the city of Nemirov, Lviv region, where he later became an instructor in geodesy and topography. In 2016, he participated in the ATO and fought near the village of Shyrokyne in Donetsk region. After demobilization, he returned to Dnipro. Later, he worked for the Kyiv company "SECUR," which specializes in video surveillance. On the first day of the full-scale war, February 24, 2022, Alexander was in Kyiv. He immediately went to the local military enlistment office. As part of the Territorial Defense Forces, he defended the capital. He later participated in the creation of a complex of optoelectronic reconnaissance for artillery, of which there are no analogs in Ukraine. It was then that he met the writer, volunteer, and Territorial Defense Forces fighter, Hlib Babich, who joined the development. Thanks to Hlib, the complex was named "Loki" after the Norse god of trickery. The men said that "Loki" would look over the enemy's shoulders and protect the lives of the boys. At the beginning of July 2022, the first field tests of the complex were conducted. At the same time, Alexander was transferred to the 132nd Separate Reconnaissance Battalion as a scout in the reconnaissance platoon. The unit was stationed near the city of Izium. "Alexander was a very patriotic and kind person. He worked without weekends, had a dream to provide for his entire family. When he had free time, he loved to help friends and acquaintances. He could do anything: fix an iron, do repairs in an apartment. My daughter and I were the meaning of his life. And he was and will remain our most beloved husband and father, for his parents - a son they are very proud of. He was undoubtedly a special person. An ideal father, husband, son, brother. He constantly joked, filling his jokes with wisdom. You could get advice from him on any question. Alexander was a truly just and worthy man with a capital letter," said the widow Anna. The warrior was buried in the village of Slobozhanske in Dnipropetrovsk region. Alexander is survived by his parents, wife, and daughter.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
