Oleksandr V. Sen

Born on January 6, 1977, in the city of Verkhniodniprovsk, Dnipropetrovsk region. Ukrainian. In 1994, he graduated from secondary school No. 2 in Verkhniodniprovsk, and in 2000 - from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management with a degree in "law". In 2003, he became a member of the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland". He was the first deputy head of the Verkhniodniprovsk district organization of the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland" for organizational issues and personnel. From 2010 to 2015, he was a deputy of the Verkhniodniprovsk District Council from the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland". In 2015, he ran for the Verkhniodniprovsk City Council from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc "Solidarity", but did not get elected to the city council. On April 29, 2016, he was called up for military service under contract by the Verkhniodniprovsk Combined District Military Commissariat of Dnipropetrovsk region to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a shooter-anti-aircraft gunner in the anti-aircraft missile platoon of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade of the Operational Command "East" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0501, village of Kluhino-Bashkirivka, Chuhuiv City Council, Kharkiv region). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 20, 2017, around 05:00, Senior Alexander Sen' was killed during combat operations at the platoon stronghold 9203 near the city of Krasnohorivka in the Marinka district of Donetsk region, repelling an attack by an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group that operated under cover of heavy fire from mortars, artillery, tanks, and Grad-P ("Partisan") rocket systems from the occupied urban-type settlement of Staromykhailivka in the Marinka district. Along with him, soldier Oleg Havrya and soldier Viktor Chornobai were also killed. On July 22, 2017, he was buried in the city cemetery in Verkhniodniprovsk, Dnipropetrovsk region.
