- Born on March 18, 1975, in the city of Slavuta, Khmelnytskyi region. In 1992, he graduated from general education school No. 4 in Slavuta. In 1992-1993, he studied in the 2nd year at the Kyiv College of Communications. In June 1993, he was drafted by the Slavuta Combined City Military Commissariat of the Khmelnytskyi region for compulsory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On July 25, 1994, during his compulsory service, he entered the Kyiv Military Institute of Management and Communications, which he graduated from in 1999 with a degree in "Military Communication Systems and Complexes" and obtained the qualification of telecommunications engineer, tactical level military management officer. From August 3, 1999, to February 9, 2004, he served as the head of communications - commander of the field communication node of the mechanized battalion of the 97th separate guards mechanized brigade of the Poltava Red Banner Order of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, part of the 13th Army Red Banner Order Corps of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1766, city of Slavuta, Khmelnytskyi region). From February 16, 2004, to August 12, 2004, he was the head of communications - commander of the communication node of the mechanized battalion, from August 12, 2004, to October 24, 2005, he was the assistant head of the operational department of the headquarters, and from October 24, 2005, he was the assistant head of communications of the headquarters of the 24th separate mechanized Samara-Ulyanovsk Berdychiv Iron Order of the October Revolution, three-time Order of the Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytskyi brigade named after Prince Daniel of Galicia of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, city of Yavoriv, Lviv region). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 26, 2014, Captain Skovorodin was killed during the evacuation of the wounded in the area of the urban-type settlement of Novosvitlivka, Krasnodon (since 2016 - Sorokyn) district of Luhansk region. He was buried in the cemetery of the city of Vyshneve, Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district, Kyiv region. On January 29, 2015, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the city of Slavuta on the facade of general education school No. 4 (Myru Street, 69), where Oleksiy Skovorodin studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
