- Born on August 9, 1995, in the village of Baniliv-Pidhirnyi, Storozhynets district, Chernivtsi region. In childhood, after the death of his mother, he and his sister were left orphans and were raised in the family of their aunt. He graduated from the 9th grade of general education school No. 3 in the urban-type settlement of Berehomet, Vyzhnytsia district, Chernivtsi region, and then attended vocational technical school No. 4 in Chernivtsi, specializing in "Tiler, facing worker, painter." From the fall of 2013, he served under contract in the 24th separate mechanized Samara-Ulyanovsk Berdychiv Iron Order of the October Revolution, three-time Order of the Red Banner, Orders of Suvorov and Bohdan Khmelnytsky brigade named after Prince Daniel of Galicia of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0998, Yavoriv, Lviv region). From the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 24, 2014, soldier Leiba was killed by a sniper's bullet during the liberation of the city of Lysychansk in Luhansk region. Captain of the medical service Rokytsky also died in this battle. On July 27, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Berehomet. On October 31, 2014, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the urban-type settlement of Berehomet on the facade of general education school No. 3 (Shevchenka Street, 50), where Pavlo Leiba studied. On October 26, 2016, a memorial was opened in the city of Lysychansk at the site where Captain of the medical service Rokytsky and soldier Leiba were killed.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
