- Sergeant Pavlo Stebliuk (call sign Malyi) was killed on February 21, 2023, near the village of Vodiane in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he came under enemy artillery fire and received fatal injuries. The fighter was 38 years old. Pavlo was born in the village of Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia region. He lived in the village of Piatykhatky. He graduated from the general education school of the Stepnohirsk village council. He then obtained a higher education at the Dnipro National Technical University, mastering the profession of an automotive technical mechanic. He worked as a construction worker and had job offers in various cities of Ukraine and abroad. He loved animals and nature, and wrote poetry. During the full-scale war, the man defended his country from the occupiers in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. He held the position of senior sergeant - commander of a machine gun unit. He fought in the Donetsk region. During his service, Pavlo was awarded certificates and the medal "For Participation in the Battles for the Bakhmut Frontier," which, unfortunately, his parents received. Posthumously, he was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree. Pavlo was a kind and sensitive person. He never passed by someone else's misfortune. He always said with a smile and a positive attitude: "Everything will be fine." I am proud of him, because he is the bravest person I know. He said that everyone wants victory, but no one wants to go and defend. Who then? Without any military experience, he rose from a machine gunner to a senior sergeant-commander. Because he was devoted to Ukraine and the people not in words, but in deeds. He was even shell-shocked, but left the position last and carried another wounded comrade. Because he thought first of others. Even men cried after his death. This is a great loss for all of us. Pavlo will forever be in our hearts. The warrior was buried at the Kushuhum cemetery in the Zaporizhzhia region. Pavlo is survived by his parents, sisters, son, relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
