Eight comrades with him that day. A month later, on July 16, the warrior would have turned 41. Ruslan was from the village of Slobodo-Petrovka in the Poltava region. He graduated from the 11th grade of the local comprehensive school. In 1999, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine for military service. After returning from the army, he began working at the Morozivska poultry factory, holding the position of head of security. He lived with his family in the village of Morozivka. For the last 8 years, he worked in the security service of Nova Poshta LLC. He devoted his free time to his family, whom he loved very much. He fixed everything at home with his own hands and could also repair any equipment or vehicle. The man went to the front at the beginning of April 2022. He served in the 32nd separate rifle battalion, military unit A4020. He held the position of head of the platoon's material and technical support warehouse. After two weeks of training, Ruslan was immediately sent to the front line. "Ruslan loved his family very much. He could do absolutely everything: in the house he built, everything was done with his own hands. He was even told at the front: how can it be that you can do everything? Any tool - scythes, welding machines, saws; on any transport - ZIL, tractor, truck, car, motorcycle - he could do everything. He had many friends. It seems that not one thousand people came to the funeral. And I'm even surprised - all those who knew him consider him their friend. And all because he always helped everyone, never refused anyone," his wife said. "A very responsible, kind, friendly and brave person, a leader in the team. He approached his duties conscientiously, performed them qualitatively, there were no complaints about his work. Ruslan was a very worthy person, a person with a capital letter, highly respected and honest," his colleagues added. The defender was buried in his native village of Slobodo-Petrovka. Ruslan left behind his parents, wife, daughter, relatives, friends, colleagues, and comrades. In the village of Slobodo-Petrovka, Gagarin Street was renamed Ruslan Moroz Street.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
