Serhii O. Oleksiienko (Zverek)

Serhiy Oleksiyenko was born on October 4, 1987, in the city of Fastiv, Kyiv region. He graduated from the Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, earning the specialty of military psychologist. He began military service in Vasylkiv, Kyiv region, as a junior lieutenant. In 2015-2016, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Eastern Ukraine, in the area of the city of Marinka, Donetsk region. At the beginning of 2022, he held the position of deputy battalion commander for moral and psychological support. He was killed on March 1, 2022, during the battles for Vasylkiv. He was buried on March 2 at the International Cemetery in the city of Fastiv, Kyiv region.
