- Soldier Serhii Bilograd (call sign Bilyi) was killed on August 31, 2023, during the assault near the village of Klishchyivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 27 years old. Serhii was born in the village of Samarka, Odesa region. He obtained basic secondary education. At the age of 15, he went to work in a mine and began to help his family - he provided for his parents, sister, and brother. He was a foreman. In his free time, he was engaged in boxing. In March 2023, the man was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in Zhytomyr and Dnipro. Later, he took the position of a sniper in the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade and went to defend the Donetsk region. "Serhii showed very good results and could plan the action plan in battle well to save as many lives of his comrades as possible. His comrades called him the soul of the 80th Airborne Assault Brigade and an example of a true warrior. They said with a smile that at the mere mention of the word 'Bilyi', the Kadyrovites became scared. Serhii never left his wounded comrades, always dragged them out himself, even when he was severely wounded. He was a brave, courageous, and valiant warrior. He went first in all the assaults, always with a smile on his face and with faith in our victory. In August, he was seriously wounded, but still dragged two comrades on himself. He was supposed to go for training to improve his military rank. But he went on the assault and was killed bravely... My brother loved his only nephew very much and called him 'uncle's beloved Jigit'. They constantly communicated via video link, and since September, my son even stopped talking... He understands everything and misses his uncle very much. Serhii introduced all his comrades to my son via video link, and he had so many plans for the future... In September, he promised to take ten days off to be with us, but unfortunately, he didn't make it..." - his sister Tetiana said. The defender was buried in his native village. Serhii Bilograd is survived by his parents, brother, sister, and nephew. Serhii Bilograd was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
