- Born on February 10, 1995, in the village of Drimailivka, Kulykivskyi district, Chernihiv region. In 2010, he graduated from the 9th grade of the general education school in the village of Drimailivka, in 2012 - from the general education school in the village of Veresoch, Kulykivskyi district, Chernihiv region, and in 2013 - from the Chernihiv Professional Railway Transport Lyceum (city of Chernihiv). Since 2013, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 1st Airborne Assault Company of the 1st Airborne Assault Battalion of the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0281 - city of Zhytomyr). Since April 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On January 18, 2015, soldier Parubets was killed during shelling by Russian-terrorist groups using the Grad multiple rocket launcher at the positions of Ukrainian troops holding the corridor to Donetsk International Airport, near the village of Spartak in the Yasynuvata district of Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, along with Serhiy Parubets, senior lieutenant Ivakh and soldier Surzhenko were killed. On January 21, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Drimailivka, Kulykivskyi district. Memorial plaques have been opened in his honor on the facades of the general education schools in the village of Drimailivka (S.S. Parubets Street, 1) and in the village of Veresoch (Victory Street, 44), where Serhiy Parubets studied. On December 16, 2016, a memorial plaque was opened on the facade of the Chernihiv Professional Railway Transport Lyceum (Remisnycha Street, 56) in the city of Chernihiv, dedicated to graduates who died during the Revolution of Dignity and the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, among whom is the name of Serhiy Parubets. In the village of Drimailivka, Kulykivskyi district, Proletarska Street has been renamed to S.S. Parubets Street.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
