- Born on May 2, 1962, in the village of Antonivka, Shpolyansky District, Cherkasy Region. Graduated from high school. Served mandatory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. In August 2015, he was mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Shpolyansky District Military Commissariat of Cherkasy Region. He served as a sapper in the engineering-sapper platoon of the 2nd engineering company of the 12th separate operational support regiment of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3814, city of Novograd-Volynskyi, Zhytomyr Region). Since the fall of 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On October 29, 2015, soldier Maïorenko died during a fire caused by the explosion of ammunition at a field depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the city of Svatove, Luhansk Region. On November 5, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Antonivka, Shpolyansky District, Cherkasy Region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
