- Born on September 3, 1984, in the city of Sambir, Lviv region. In 1999, he graduated from the 9th grade of general education school No. 7 in Sambir, and in 2003 - from the Sambir College of Economics and Informatics. He served under contract in the 80th Separate Airborne Order of the Red Banner Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0284, Lviv). Since April 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 31, 2014, Sergeant Drabik was killed during a battle with Russian-terrorist groups while trying to carry wounded comrades from the battlefield near the urban-type settlement of Heorhiivka in the Luhansk region. He is buried in the cemetery of the city of Sambir. In the city of Sambir, memorial plaques have been installed in his honor on the buildings of general education school No. 7 (12 Kopernika Street) and the Sambir College of Economics and Informatics (7 Krushelnytska Street), where Taras Drabik studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
