- Senior soldier Vadim Nevolin (call sign Veterok) was killed in action on June 15, 2022, while performing a combat mission on the border of the Sumy region. The warrior was 57 years old. Vadim was born in the city of Marganets, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 1975, he moved with his family to the city of Bobrovytsia in Chernihiv region. He finished local school No. 2. From school years, he was engaged in boxing, participated in competitions, took prize places. He became a candidate for master of sports in boxing. In 1983, he graduated with honors from the college and received the profession of a diamond cutter. He worked in his specialty at the Kyiv Crystal Factory. He served in the border troops. After the army, he returned to boxing. He took part in 51 fights, won 40. Then he served in the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. In 1991, he graduated with honors from the Lviv Special Secondary School of Militia and received the qualification of a lawyer. He was engaged in entrepreneurial activities. Most of his life he worked in the justice authorities of Chernihiv region. In 2006, he graduated from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management in the specialty "Law". Until February 2022, he worked as the head of the Nizhyn department of the State Executive Service. With the start of the full-scale war, Vadim went to defend his native country. He joined the security company of the 1st department of the Nizhyn district territorial center for recruitment and social support of Chernihiv region, which is part of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a shooter-sanitarian. "Heroes really die. I no longer have a father. We had so many joint plans. You said that you would give me away and wait for grandchildren. And your sense of humor, your jokes - my favorites. How without them? And our trips together... You are so kind, smart, brave. The best dad in the world. So much was not enough. See, do, wait. So many days have passed, and it seems that this is just such a long bad, terrible day. We are still waiting for you, because when you last contacted, you said that soon - and home. From time to time, I still call you, and you do not answer the call. And I refuse to believe that you will not return," says the daughter of the deceased Anastasia. "For 20 years, he was a support for the team, a wise mentor and a fair leader," said colleagues of the deceased. The defender was buried in the city of Bobrovytsia, Chernihiv region.
