Valentyn H. Shermirzaiev (Bandera)

Shermirzyaev Valentyn Hennadiiovych was born on January 28, 1980, in the village of Mozhnyakivka, Novopskov district, Luhansk region. Since 2012, he has been a member of the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda" party. In August 2013, Valentyn Shermirzyaev organized a thematic training camp and patriotic events "Haydamak's Grave" in his native village of Mozhnyakivka. He participated in the Revolution of Dignity. In 2014, he stood up to defend Ukraine, a fighter of the volunteer battalion "Luhansk-1", later - the 42nd battalion of the territorial defense "Resistance Movement". He participated in the ATO in eastern Ukraine, in the battles for Savur-Mohyla. He served in the 17th Separate Tank Brigade until 2019. After the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 25, 2022, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed on April 23, 2022, during a battle with the occupiers in the village of Mykolaivka in the Kherson region. He was buried on April 27, 2022, in the Alley of Heroes of the Central Cemetery in Kryvyi Rih.
