- Soldier Valentin Teodorovych (call sign Stolyar) was killed on July 2, 2023 near the village of Rivnopil in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained a fatal explosive injury. The military was 53 years old. Valentin was born in the village of Kitaihorod, Dnipropetrovsk region, in a large family. He was the youngest, fifth child. After finishing school, he continued his studies at the Petrykivka Vocational School, specializing as a driver-tractor operator. Then he returned to his native village and got a job as a driver in the collective farm. He served his military service in Kazakhstan. In 1994, he married his neighbor Liudmyla, and the couple immediately began to build their own house. A year later, the couple had a son, and four years later, a daughter. Valentin was an extremely responsible, skilled and dedicated person. He always chose an active way of spending his free time before the war and during service. He did not waste time and used it beneficially - he collected mushrooms and caught fish for his comrades. The guys joked that he could even collect mushrooms on asphalt and feed his comrades. He had a talent for drawing and music, played the guitar and trumpet. He was engaged in wickerwork, wood carving, was a carpenter and furniture maker. He was interested in beekeeping and dreamed of starting a large apiary after the end of the war. On March 14, 2022, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 128th separate brigade of territorial defense. He was a driver of the 230th battalion. "He was a hospitable and interesting interlocutor, so he had many friends. His creativity, talent and skills were always recognized and made him a source of inspiration for his family, friends and acquaintances. He left a bright trace in the hearts of the people of his country. He was a true leader who always stood up for others, showing great courage and self-sacrifice. His kindness, dedication and desire to help will remain in the memory and hearts of those who knew him," said the deceased's relatives. The defender was buried in his native village. A loving family is left in mourning: wife Liudmyla, son Ihor, daughter Alona, brother Oleksandr, sisters Liudmyla and Liubov.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
