- Defender Vyacheslav Bilyi was killed on November 25, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Ploshchanka in the Luhansk region. He was 43 years old. Vyacheslav was born and lived in the village of Klishkivtsi, Chernivtsi region. After school, he served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Then he worked as a carpenter and was a worker at a local sawmill. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing. He was a humble and decent person. He never refused to help his comrades and neighbors. He wanted everyone to be well. In 1999, Vyacheslav married his beloved Inga. Two years later, their first daughter was born, and three years after that, the second one. He loved both of them very much and dreamed of waiting for grandchildren. When the Russian-Ukrainian war began, the man went to defend his native country. As part of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade, he participated in the ATO. With the start of the full-scale war, Vyacheslav decided to go to war again. He defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. He was a rifleman-medic. "He was a good father and always cared for us. He went to war in 2014. He always conscientiously carried out orders and understood what he was standing for there. Among his comrades, he was the oldest, so they always consulted with him. Even the commander came to the funeral to honor him. I am sincerely proud to be his daughter," said the deceased's daughter Anastasia. "Vyacheslav Anatoliyovych waited for long and terrible months, scorched by the fires of the Grads, for a meeting with his dearest ones. After spending a few days at home, he hurried back to his comrades. The call of the heart, the military duty called him to battle. He hurried to stop the enemy as soon as possible, to drive him out of his native land, so that the life of his children would be bright and happy... But the artillery shelling of the Russians cut short his life... Unspeakable grief. We mourn and deeply grieve before the bright memory of a wonderful person," noted the Klishkovetska community. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, Vyacheslav was awaited by his mother Nina Dmytrivna, his wife Inga, and two daughters: Anastasia and Diana.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
