- Soldier Vyacheslav Nikitenko was killed on December 27, 2022 in the battle for the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The warrior received fatal injuries during an enemy artillery barrage. A month earlier, on November 27, he turned 36 years old. Vyacheslav was born in the city of Valky, Kharkiv region. In preschool age, he moved with his family to the village of Vodiane, Kharkiv region. In 1994, he went to the 1st grade of the Oleksiivska secondary school. He grew up to be resourceful and curious, showing leadership qualities. In the memory of his classmates, he remained a friendly, polite comrade with a positive attitude, always smiling. In 2003, after finishing the 9th grade, he entered the Krasnokutsk Professional Agrarian Lyceum, where he obtained the profession of a computer typist. Then he worked for some time at the local enterprise "Vodian HPC", holding the position of an accountant, later he began to engage in construction work of varying complexity. In 2022, during the full-scale Russian invasion, Vyacheslav was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He went to serve together with his best friend. Initially, Vyacheslav served in the guard company of the 3rd department of the Bohodukhiv RTCK and SP. Later, he was transferred to the 17th separate rifle battalion to the position of a rifleman - a grenade launcher assistant. "Slavonchik was a real brother to me, not by blood, but by spirit. We were friends since childhood and went through all the periods of life together. It so happened that during the war we ended up in the same brigade, but in different companies. During the war, Slavik found a four-legged friend, whom he called Pashka. I don't know if it's fate or coincidence, but a month after Slavonchik's death, I met Pashka. I had previously seen my brother's favorite only in photographs, but when I met him in person - I immediately recognized him, since then we have not parted for long..." - said his comrade Stanislav Ryabchenko. The fallen soldier is buried in the Dublyansky cemetery, next to other heroes of the Krasnokutsk community. Vyacheslav is survived by his father Volodymyr, brother Mykola and uncle Ivan.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
