- Born on November 29, 1971, in the village of Nikonivka, Berdychiv district, Zhytomyr region. In 1987, he graduated from the Nikonivka secondary school, then from the vocational technical school No. 4 in the city of Berdychiv. He worked at the Berdychiv machine-building plant "Prohres." On March 19, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 26th separate artillery brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3091, Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region). On May 13, 2014, Sergeant Vereshchak died as a result of a fire and explosion that occurred in one of the self-propelled artillery units during the movement of the unit from one position to another during exercises aimed at strengthening the protection of the southern section of the State Border of Ukraine, near the village of Rivne, Henichesk district, Kherson region. On June 1, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Nikonivka, Berdychiv district. In March 2015, a memorial plaque was installed on the facade of the general education school building (Lenin Street, 10) in the village of Nikonivka, where Viktor Vereshchak studied. On May 7, 2015, near the village of Rivne, Henichesk district, a memorial sign was unveiled in honor of the two fallen soldiers of the 26th separate artillery brigade, among whom was the name of Sergeant Viktor Vereshchak. On August 24, 2015, a memorial sign was unveiled in the city of Berdychiv on the territory of military unit A3091 in honor of the fallen soldiers of the 26th separate artillery brigade and the 12th separate infantry battalion, among whom was the name of Sergeant Viktor Vereshchak.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
