- Soldier Viktor Rudyka (call sign Vitsyk) was killed on June 4, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Volodyne in the Donetsk region. The defender was 28 years old. Viktor was born in the village of Veresy, Zhytomyr region. He lived in the village of Nepiznanichi. He graduated from the Zhytomyr Higher Vocational School, obtained the profession of refrigeration plant operator and repair mechanic. He worked as a sawyer in a forestry. He loved to play football, grew various types of trees, and sowed the land with various grain crops. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to defend the Motherland. He served in the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of driver. "The best man and father in the world, who was not afraid and went to defend not only us, but all Ukrainians. He is our Hero!" - said the wife of the fallen warrior Margarita. "Viktor was cheerful, courageous, never complained about anything, took an active part in the social life of his native village, played football, had a brave heart and was a true support for his wife, two children and friends. He had a good reputation among the villagers where he lived and his comrades-in-arms, with whom he achieved the Victory of Ukraine, he was an example for everyone. The cream of the nation is about Viktor. Deep bow, respect and eternal memory" - this is how the deceased is remembered by his loved ones. The defender was buried in the village of Nepiznanichi, Zhytomyr region.
