- Born on April 30, 1986, in the city of Neustrelitz, German Democratic Republic (now the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany) in a military family. Since 1990, the family lived in the city of Zhytomyr. From 1993 to 2000, he studied at secondary school No. 33 in Zhytomyr. Since 2000 - in the city of Berdychiv, Zhytomyr region. In 2003, he graduated from secondary college No. 14 in Berdychiv. Since 2003, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2007, he graduated from the Airborne Faculty of the Odessa Institute of Ground Forces (now the Military Academy). Since 2007, he served in the 80th Separate Airborne Assault Regiment of the Airborne Forces of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0284, Lviv). However, after some time, he left military service and was discharged to the reserve. In March 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of an airborne assault platoon of the 4th airborne assault company of the 2nd airborne assault battalion of the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1910, Zhytomyr). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On May 13, 2014, while performing a combat mission to escort 82-mm mortar crews 2B-9 and supplies to checkpoints, on the outskirts of the village of Oktyabrskoye (since 2016 - Mayachka) in the Sloviansk district of Donetsk region, around 12:30 PM, the column was ambushed. Militants attacked with grenade launchers and opened heavy fire with small arms. More than 30-40 attackers had arrived in the ambush in advance and were positioned along the river in the bushes. The first shots from grenade launchers hit the engine of the second armored personnel carrier, which caught fire, and the GAZ-66 vehicle. The paratroopers engaged in battle, resulting in the deaths of 6 servicemen and 8 receiving injuries of varying severity. As a result of the battle, Senior Lieutenant Dulchik was also killed. On May 17, 2014, he was buried at the Smolyan military cemetery in Zhytomyr. Captain (2014 - posthumously). On August 22, 2014, in the city of Berdychiv, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the house (Nizhyretska Street, 38) where Vitaliy Dulchik lived. On June 25, 2015, during the 66th session of the Berdychiv City Council, a decision was made to rename Engel's Street and Lane in Berdychiv to Vitaliy Dulchik Street. On May 13, 2017, in Zhytomyr, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of secondary school No. 33 (Velyka Berdychivska Street, 52), where Vitaliy Dulchik studied.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
