Vitalii Yu. Maletych

Soldier Vitaliy Malatytsky was killed on May 31, 2022, near the village of Borivske in Luhansk region. While on position, he received fatal injuries during enemy artillery shelling. In April, the defender turned 24 years old. Vitaliy was born in the village of Subotci, Kirovohrad region. He grew up in the village of Stara Osota, where he also finished school. Then he stuwas killed at the Central Ukrainian State University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko. He worked as a receptionist at the branch No. 1 of "Nova Poshta" in Kropyvnytskyi. He loved to read, lately the guy liked books on self-development - how to manage time and spend money correctly. He really wanted to grow, develop, be more productive, dreamed of mastering a new profession. He dreamed of learning to earn remotely, travel, enjoy life. When the full-scale war began, Vitaliy joined the territorial defense in Kropyvnytskyi. He was assigned to the 121st separate brigade of territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He took the position of a shooter and went to the front. "As he was a good person himself, he also attracted good people. He didn't have many friends, but they were exactly the kind of friends they should be: very devoted, always ready to help. Vitalik was very sincere, open, so it was easy for everyone to be with him. He went to the front as a volunteer - he had no military experience or education. In general, he was preparing to be a teacher of labor training. When the war began, many people went to the TRO - and he did too. At first, he served in Kropyvnytskyi, guarded ammunition. After some time, the defenders were sent to Kanatove (near Kropyvnytskyi), then they said: gather. Everything was very secret, but soon we found out that he was in Lysychansk," - colleagues of the deceased told. The hero was buried in the village of Stara Osota in Kirovohrad region. He left behind his parents, brother, sister, girlfriend, friends, colleagues, and comrades. Vitaliy Malatytsky was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.
