Vladyslav O. Ryzhkov (Miki)

Junior Sergeant Vladyslav Ryzhkov (call sign Mickey) was killed on April 10, 2023 near the settlement of Khromove in the Donetsk region. He received a fatal shrapnel wound while performing a combat mission. 6 days before this, the warrior turned 26 years old. Vladyslav was born and lived in Kharkiv. He studied at school No. 168. Then he studied at the Kharkiv Machine-Building College. In the third year, when he was 19 years old, he decided to defend the people of Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He studied remotely at the National University of Civil Defense. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for Ukraine in the ranks of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. He held the position of chief sergeant of the reconnaissance platoon. From the first days of the Great War, together with his comrades-in-arms, Vladyslav defended the Kharkiv region, and then went to defend the Donetsk region. During his service, the fighter was repeatedly awarded by the command, in particular, the Order of Courage of the III degree, the medal "Defender of the Fatherland", the badge "For the Defense of Ukraine", the honorary badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Golden Cross", the medal from the Mayor of Kharkiv "For the Defense of the Hero City of Kharkiv". Vladyslav was buried in the Alley of Glory of one of the cemeteries in Kharkiv. He is survived by his mother, girlfriend, relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
