- Senior soldier Vladyslav Hutik was killed on August 26, 2024, during enemy artillery shelling and an attack by FPV drones near the city of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 22 years old. Vladyslav was born in the village of Yaltushkiv in the Vinnytsia region. He obtained the profession of a dental technician at the Zhytomyr Medical College. He worked as a taxi driver. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, he voluntarily signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He defended the Motherland as part of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. He held the position of senior gunner of a combat vehicle of a rocket artillery platoon of a rocket artillery battery. "Vladyslav was a cheerful person, he always wanted to live this life happily. A positive person who bravely defended the borders of our state from the first months of the full-scale invasion. Without hesitation, he signed a contract. A man with a capital letter - Vladyslav, who was never afraid to tell the truth, told it to everyone, and for that he was respected. He made decisions quickly, implemented his ideas and was not afraid of it," said a close family friend. "This was a child given to me by God, I think there are few people like my son on this earth. You know, when they ask me to tell about my son, I say - have you seen how the sun, when it rises, illuminates the room? Gradually, right? And my son, when he entered somewhere, immediately lit up everything around. If he appeared in your life, he will definitely leave a trace behind. That's how our son was. He loved cars very much, changed them often, and repaired them himself. He dreamed of living in Portugal. His wife and sons live there now. Vlad was cheerful, always smiling," said his mother Iryna. The defender was buried in his native village. Vladyslav is survived by his wife, two sons, parents and a brother. For his service, Senior Soldier Vladyslav Hutik was awarded the "Golden Cross" badge.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
