- Junior Sergeant Vladyslav Sova was killed on June 5, 2023, during an assault in the area of the settlement of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region. The warrior's life was cut short by enemy artillery fire. The defender was forever 20 years old. Vladyslav was from the settlement of Hubynykha, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 2020, he graduated from local school No. 2. He actively participated in school and inter-district sports events, defending the honor of the school and the settlement, where the team often took prize-winning places. In the senior classes, he became interested in martial arts. He attended the "SIKARIO" mixed martial arts club. After school, he entered the Dnipro College of Railway Transport and Transport Infrastructure. He was an activist and a group leader. "Vladyslav was a wonderful person who would always support, even in the most difficult situation. He was calm, cheerful, and kind. The soul of the company. Sometimes he would say such little phrases that he himself did not pay attention to, and we all found it so funny. Unfortunately, the war takes the best of the best, which Vladyk was. He is also my pride. I am very proud of the two years of study we spent together. My heart bleeds. Until the last moment, I did not believe and do not want to believe now," shared the memories of one of the deceased's classmates. After February 24, 2022, all of Vladyslav's thoughts were only about protecting the Motherland. Despite the objections of his relatives, he insisted on joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine. So on December 8, 2022, he signed a contract and joined the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He became a fighter of the 37th separate marine brigade. He was a squad commander. "You must not stand to death, you must live to fight," Vladyslav said. "Vladyslav was always on the side of truth and justice. These qualities determined his desire to take up arms and defend his Motherland. Comrades-in-arms remember him as a responsible and courageous person. At his age, he became a true Hero, but it's a pity it was posthumously. We remember, honor, and love him!" said the deceased's fiancée, Sophia. "He was a persistent, faithful to his views man, who, despite his age, made a courageous and worthy act," added his relatives. The young hero was buried in his native settlement. Vladyslav is survived by his parents, younger brother, fiancée, grandfather and grandmother, as well as other relatives, friends, and comrades-in-arms.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
