Vladyslav V. Stasiv (Dynamo)

Stasiv Vladyslav Volodymyrovych (callsign Dynamo) was born on November 29, 1999, in the city of Stryi, Lviv region. He studied at local schools No. 11 and No. 3 named after I. Franko. He continued his education at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, majoring in Tourism. He loved music, particularly freestyle. From a young age, he was involved in and interested in football. He was a fan of the Kyiv football club "Dynamo", which is why he chose the same callsign in the military. In the first days of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to defend Ukraine from the occupiers. He served in the ranks of the 65th separate battalion of the 103rd separate brigade of the territorial defense. He held the position of grenade launcher section gunner in the fire support platoon. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the north of the Poltava region, and from March 2022, he participated in hostilities in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions. He was killed on September 21, 2022, in battle from an enemy sniper's bullet while liberating the village of Yampil in the Donetsk region. The farewell to the warrior took place on September 25, 2022, in his hometown. He was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Stryi Cemetery.
