Vladyslav V. Trepko

Vladislav was born on June 6, 1986, in Chernivtsi in a large family of teachers. From 1993 to 2001, he studied at secondary school No. 28 in Chernivtsi, and in 2005, he graduated from the Chernivtsi State Medical College at the Bukovinian State Medical University. He was enrolled as a student at BSMU, graduated in 2011, and received the qualification of "Doctor." That same year, he entered an internship in the specialty of "Surgery." He dedicated a total of 13 years to his education. While in the 3rd year of his internship and working as an intern doctor in the surgical department of the regional hospital, on March 20, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking the position of a medical unit commander in the 30th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade. In May 2014, he was awarded the military rank of "Lieutenant of the Medical Service." He completed his internship in the specialty of "Surgery" and entered graduate school. From January 15 to February 14, 2015, he was on leave, but on January 28, he was urgently dispatched to the ATO area. He participated in combat operations, saving many wounded. On February 12, 2015, he heroically died while performing a combat mission to provide medical assistance and evacuate the wounded from the battlefield near Debaltseve.
