- Senior Lieutenant Vladislav Voronin (call sign Woodstock) was killed on November 29, 2023, in the village of Stepove, Donetsk region. He commanded a group of fighters, holding back the enemy's breakthrough near this settlement, and received a mine-explosive injury incompatible with life. Vladislav was 28 years old. He was born and lived in Dnipro. Since childhood, he was active, had many hobbies, including hand-to-hand combat, freestyle wrestling, and boxing. He repeatedly became a prize-winner in competitions, a regional champion. He also loved to draw and studied at an art school for several years. In addition, he played the guitar and was a drummer in a local music band. However, he most enjoyed playing the djembe. During his studies at school No. 1, the guy created a school television and was its leader until graduation. After graduating from school, he entered the Alfred Nobel University, where in 2018 he received a diploma with honors in the specialty "Law". It was here that he met his best friend Andriy Husak (call sign Knight). From the 1st year of university, the guys were always together - they studied, rested, worked, and later defended Ukraine together. Even during his studies, Vladislav began legal practice, getting a job at the Fargo company. Later, he became an assistant to the chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Bar Council. After the university, he taught students. In 2020, he became a lawyer. He practiced independently and was a lawyer at the Stanislav Kazantsev "Justice" law firm. During the full-scale war, Vladislav defended the Motherland as part of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Mahura". He was the deputy commander of the 1st Mechanized Company for moral and psychological support, and at the time of his death, he was performing the duties of the company commander. For participation in the battles for the liberation of the village of Robotyne on October 16, 2023, he was awarded the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine". From October 2023, he participated in the infantry battles waged by his company in the Avdiivka direction, for which he received the medal "For Courage in Battle". In October 2023, the brigade was transferred to the Avdiivka direction, where the warriors defended Krasnohorivka, Stepove, and Berdychiv. In these hellish battles, many of Vlad's comrades-in-arms were wounded or killed. In one of these battles, the commander of the 1st Mechanized Company was seriously wounded, and Vladislav remained the only officer of the company. He made an extremely difficult decision - to take command of the company as a temporary acting commander. His comrades-in-arms followed him to positions and into battle, because he was a reliable and selfless commander. He was not afraid to take the initiative on the battlefield and take responsibility for the lives of his fighters, as his wife Viktoria said. The soldier was buried at the Novokluchkivske Cemetery in Dnipro. At home, his parents, brother, grandfather, and wife were waiting for him. On March 24, 2024, the Ukrainian Workout Championship dedicated to the fallen warriors Vladislav Voronin and Andriy Husak took place. A month later, on the defender's birthday, a memorial evening was held, during which a tribute song "Woodstock Forever" (author - Pavlo Pryzhehods'kyi) was presented. The Department of Law, where Vladislav studied, published a collection of abstracts from a scientific conference on European integration, dedicating it to Vladislav Voronin and Andriy Husak.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
