- 24-year-old Sergeant Vladyslav Chervinskyi was killed on July 27, 2023, in combat in the area of the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. He sustained fatal injuries as a result of a hit by an enemy UAV "Lancet" on his MT-LB. Vladyslav was from the city of Zhmerynka, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from Lyceum No. 3 and dreamed of a career as a doctor. Therefore, he mastered the profession of a dental technician at the Vinnytsia Medical College. He was also passionate about football. In 2019, when he was 20 years old, he joined the National Guard of Ukraine for military service. He served under contract, was a combat medic in military unit 3008. He carried out combat missions in the area of the Joint Forces Operation and repeatedly saved his comrades. When the full-scale war began, Vladyslav was transferred to the position of a medical instructor in the 14th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, which later became the assault brigade "Chervona Kalyna". At first, he served in the Zhytomyr region, and then in the Bakhmut direction. The last two months before his death, he defended the Zaporizhzhia region. Vladyslav underwent training and improved his combat medic skills. For the conscientious performance of his duties, he was repeatedly awarded certificates from the brigade command. "I will always love and respect him, because we were like brothers," wrote the deceased's cousin Dmytro Bevz. "Vlad dreamed of defeating the enemy as soon as possible and returning to peaceful life together with all Ukrainians. But the insidious enemy took away a young life, and with it - all dreams of the future. Vladyslav had a whole life ahead of him, but he gave it for Ukraine, because for him she was above all. Responsible, always demanding of himself, initiative, purposeful and diligent - this is how Vladyslav Chervinskyi was and will forever remain in our memory," said the Zhmerynka City Council.
