Biography
Vladislav Yuriyovych Lisnyak was born on August 31, 1995, in the village of Orlivshchyna, Dnipropetrovsk region. In 2014, without any doubt, he went to defend his homeland. As part of the National Guard of Ukraine, he was directly involved in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). He fought in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, particularly in the cities of Sloviansk and Popasna. He was awarded the Presidential Award of Ukraine "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation" and the badge "Veteran of War." In 2020, he enrolled at Zaporizhzhia National University but did not manage to complete his studies. In 2020, he signed a contract with the separate special purpose unit of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov." Since February 24, 2022, Vladislav was in the city of Mariupol, where he was appointed commander of a unit to repel enemy attacks from the Russian Federation's forces. He was killed on March 13, 2022, in Mariupol while performing a combat mission. Vladislav covered the retreat of his unit, came under mortar fire, and sustained fatal injuries.Burial place
