Biography
Bondarenko Volodymyr Anatoliyovych was born on September 28, 1993, in the village of Krasnopavlivka, Lozova district, Kharkiv region. At a young age, he was left without a mother, and his father was deprived of parental rights. Volodymyr was raised by his uncle and grandmother. He studied at school No. 1 in the village of Krasnopavlivka. After completing secondary school, he enrolled in the Lozova Automobile Technical School, and later graduated with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from KhNADU. In 2017, he began his service in the National Guard of Ukraine as a reconnaissance sniper in Odesa. He was a veteran of combat operations, defending the Motherland in the village of Oleksandrivka and the city of Novoydar in the Luhansk region. In 2019, he completed a special course in sniper training with the UAR-10. In August 2021, he completed the young soldier course and joined the ranks of the Azov Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine in the Mariupol garrison. At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was at the forefront, defending the city of Mariupol along with his comrades-in-arms. During the siege of Mariupol, Volodymyr saved several of his comrades by transporting them to the Azovstal plant. He last contacted his family on March 5, 2022. On April 6, 2022, his comrades reported that on March 24, Volodymyr Bondarenko had been killed, but was considered missing. After the next exchange of bodies on June 24, 2022, his relatives identified Volodymyr by his tattoos. On June 26, 2022, Volodymyr Bondarenko was buried in his native village of Krasnopavlivka.Burial place
