Volodymyr M. Yushchenko

Born on September 24, 1991, in the city of Chernihiv. Graduated from secondary school No. 33 in Chernihiv. On March 19, 2014, mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served in the 1st Separate Guards Tank Novgorod Order of the Red Banner, Kutuzov, Bohdan Khmelnytsky, Alexander Nevsky, and Red Star Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1815, the urban-type settlement of Honcharivske, Chernihiv district, Chernihiv region). Since the summer of 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On September 4, 2014, Russian-terrorist groups shelled the positions of Ukrainian troops in the village of Dmytrivka, Novoaidar district, Luhansk region, using BM-30 "Smerch" multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the shelling, soldier Yushchenko, soldier Bezgubchenko, senior soldier Khutorny, and senior sergeant Shyk were killed. Buried in the "Yatsevo" cemetery in Chernihiv. On November 21, 2017, a memorial plaque was unveiled in Chernihiv on the facade of secondary school No. 33 (Myr Avenue, 207B), where Volodymyr Yushchenko studied.
