Volodymyr O. Varfolomeiev

Born on July 15, 1984, in the urban-type settlement of Kirovske in the Dnipropetrovsk district (now the urban-type settlement of Obukhivka in the Dnipro district) of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Lived in the village of Chervonoivanivka in the Krynychansky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Graduated from a general education school. Served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for mandatory military service. Acquired the profession of painter-plasterer, engaged in house repairs. On April 4, 2014, mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Krynychansky district military commissariat of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Served as a flamethrower in the 93rd separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302, field post V2830 - urban-type settlement of Cherkaskoye in the Novomoskovsk district of the Dnipropetrovsk region). Since the spring of 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 21, 2014, senior soldier Varfolomeev was killed in battle near the settlement of Pisky in the Yasynuvata district of the Donetsk region. On July 30, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Chervonoivanivka in the Krynychansky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
