Volodymyr P. Bazyliuk

Private Volodymyr Bazyliuk was killed on February 22, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. The fighter was 36 years old. Volodymyr was born in the village of Maleve, Rivne region. He graduated from Maliv Secondary School. Then he obtained the profession of a carpenter at a vocational school. He got married. He worked a lot to support his family. He loved to spend time with his children and his beloved wife. He had many plans for life. However, the full-scale war destroyed all his dreams. Volodymyr, without hesitation, went to defend his relatives and his country from the Russian occupiers. He joined the ranks of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He took the position of senior gunner in the mortar platoon. "He lived worthily and fought worthily. The only son, the best husband, a loving father and a faithful friend. Always smiling and calm, with a clear conscience. At the call of his heart, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He defended his land and his people. How much good and light awaited him in the future! Rest in glory! Ukraine will be the way you dreamed of!" - said the acquaintance of the deceased and the teacher of the local school Tetiana Dudas. "More than a hundred guys from our community took up arms and stood up to defend our state. Volodya also, at the first call, joined the elite airborne assault troops. He quickly mastered the military profession and worthily did his job. As in civilian life. He was the one who could be set as an example. Understanding how his relatives and close ones worry about him, he always said: "Don't worry, everything is fine, everything is there." He answered me the same way: "Nothing is needed, give it to those who need it." Modest, calm, polite, balanced, a good host, a loving son, a beloved husband, a wonderful family man and the best dad. There are no words to convey the heartache..." - said the head of the Boremelia community Viktor Koreniuk. The defender was buried in his native village. Volodymyr is survived by his mother Hanna Yevheniivna, his wife Natalia, daughter Karyna and son Artur.
