Yevheniia V. Semenenko

Semenenko Yevheniia Volodymyrivna was born in 1997 in the village of Zaliznychne, Lebedyn district, Sumy region. She graduated from the secondary school in her native village. During her studies in the 11th grade, the Revolution of Dignity began. According to the girl's memories, the events on the Maidan touched her teenage soul, so she decided to connect her life with the military. Initially, she obtained the profession of a paramedic at the Lebedyn Medical College. And in 2017, she went on a contract as a full-fledged medical officer. At first, she served in a rocket artillery division. With it, she went on a rotation to the combat zone in Donbas. When she was serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, she bought a house in the village of Boromlia, former Trostianets (since 2019 - Okhtyrka) district, and moved here with her older sister and mother. During the full-scale military invasion of Russia in Ukraine, combat medic Yevheniia Semenenko served in the 1st motorized rifle company of the 1st motorized rifle battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians. She died on May 30, 2022 in the Kherson region. On June 6, 2022, Yevheniia Semenenko was buried in the village of Boromlia, Okhtyrka district, Sumy region.
