Biography
Natalia Levchenko, mother: "Yuriy Yuriyovych Lytvynenko was born on September 28, 1979, in the village of Pashchenivka, Kolomak district, Kharkiv region. When Yuriy was 3 years old, his father died, and we moved to Kharkiv. In Kharkiv, he graduated from school No. 63. In 1996, he entered and graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University named after H. Skovoroda in 2001, and from 2004 to 2007, he studied at the Faculty of Economics of the same university, obtaining a master's degree. From 2001 to 2002, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. I have 2 letters of gratitude from the minister for raising my son. He began his career in the security service of "Kreditprombank," then worked as the head of the security service of "Dniprocredit" bank and the Land Bank. His last place of work was "Basis" bank. Due to the bank's liquidation, he was dismissed, after which he voluntarily went to the military enlistment office and asked to be called up to the front. On January 30, he received a summons, and on February 2, 2015, retraining began at the Military Law Faculty of the Kharkiv National University of Law named after Yaroslav the Wise, and on March 13, he went to his assignment — to the 17th battalion of the 57th brigade, which was stationed in the city of Dzerzhynsk, Donetsk region, where he held the position of assistant to the commander on legal issues, holding the rank of lieutenant of justice. The combat comrades of my son said that he diligently performed not only legal work (all soldiers received their combat veteran status and combat allowances on time, he never included himself in the lists for combat allowances, although he often was on the front line), but also other combat tasks. He always carried grenades with him, and he asked me for forgiveness for the decision he made — under no circumstances to surrender to captivity. During the execution of another combat task, he came under fire, and as a result of a concussion, he suffered a massive heart attack, but Yuriy fought for his life for another 4 hours and 45 minutes. The commander was not in the battalion, and no one else called for medical evacuation to take him to Kharkiv or Dnipro, where he could have been saved. That's how it happened that at 6:30 PM he called me and spoke quite healthily, and at 8:00 AM a volunteer told me that he had died at 0:35 on December 16, 2015."Military service
