- Junior Lieutenant Andrii Korolovych (call sign Mahmud) was killed on March 13, 2022 during a missile attack on the Yavoriv training ground in the Lviv region. The officer was 33 years old. Andrii was born and lived in the capital. He graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and obtained a degree as a physics teacher. Later, he took various courses and mastered two more professions: coach and masseur. This is what he did in his peaceful life. He was passionate about a healthy lifestyle, ran marathons, loved nature and animals, and adored children. In the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man evacuated his family to the Khmilnytskyi region and went to the military enlistment office there. He became an officer of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachny National Army Academy and went to the Yavoriv training ground. "Andrii was a wonderful man and father. He adored life and family. He worked as a coach and masseur, helping people to be healthy. From the first days of the war, he himself went to defend Ukraine and had no doubts that he had to do this," said the deceased's wife, Oksana. The officer was buried at the Lukianivske Cemetery in Kyiv. Andrii is survived by his wife Oksana, daughters Milada and Daryna, and stepson Dmytro.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
