    • Biography

      Friends remember Andriy Abrosimov as a cheerful, courageous, kind, and compassionate young man. He studied at Pavlohrad Secondary School No. 11 and graduated in 2010 from the Western Donbas Vocational Lyceum with a specialization in "Electrician for the Repair and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment." He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was discharged in the fall of 2013. He worked as a security guard for the "ATB" retail chain. In April 2014, he was drafted for military service by mobilization.

      Killed in action on May 23, 2014, from a sniper's bullet during the repulsion of an enemy attack on a checkpoint near the village of Zoloty Kolodyaz, Dobropilskyi district, Donetsk region.
