- 36-year-old defender Anton Gorodetsky (call sign Banderas) was killed on September 5, 2022, during a missile strike in the area of the village of Bogoyavlenka in the Donetsk region. Anton was born in Kyiv. After finishing school, he obtained a higher education at the Kyiv University of Economics and Law "KROK". He lived in Vyshhorod near Kyiv. He loved traveling, especially by car. They traveled to many countries as a family. He was passionate about cars and knew almost everything about them. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man defended Ukraine as part of the 68th separate Yager brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. He served in the communications company. "The kindest guy I've met here, my brother and friend Anton Gorodetsky, has . Always open, sincere. He constantly shared his warmth," wrote his brother-in-arms Pavlo Vyshebraba. "He always wanted to help and be kind to everyone, he could fulfill any wish. Anton had golden hands and everyone knew he could do anything. He had a keen sense of justice. From the first days of the war, Anton knew where and with whom his place was. He did not want to stay aside. He wanted to protect his land and his family. He wanted to be with his people. He was the best son, brother, friend, husband and father in the world. He was an Angel that the Lord sent to us to teach us how to live. He became an Angel that the Lord took from us," said his sister Yulia Gorodetskaya. The serviceman was buried on the Alley of Glory in Vyshhorod. Anton is survived by his wife Natalia and two daughters: Sofiya and Mariya.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
