Biography
In 2003, I graduated from secondary school No. 74 in Kyiv and enrolled in vocational school No. 33. In 2005, I studied and worked in France under a student exchange program. From 2006 to 2007, I served in the mandatory military service in a separate regiment of the President of Ukraine. In 2014, I graduated from Kyiv University of Market Relations. Also, since 2010, I studied at the Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television named after I.K. Karpenko-Karyi (in December 2014, I passed my next, and final, session). From the first days, I actively participated in the events of the Revolution of Dignity. In the spring of 2014, I signed a contract to serve in the military reserve of the National Guard of Ukraine and participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine. Reserve Senior Lieutenant Anatoliy Martyniuk published a kind of touching epitaph for his fallen comrades on Facebook, most of whom he knew personally, as he had previously commanded this unit. Farewell to the brothers My dear platoon of the third company… We first met in Novyi Petrivtsi — so different, yet with one goal — and truly united at checkpoint No. 7 near Sloviansk. I still can't believe that many of my guys are no longer with us, and so many have been injured… Maksym Shchipov (call sign Pushok) from Kyiv. Everyone who knew you will confirm that you had an impressive laugh — in the unit, it was joked that the terrorists ran away from the sound of your laughter during the night explosions… Your friendship with Maryman lasted through everything, and it's hard to imagine you without each other. You cared for Maryman so much that you even agreed (though you really didn't want to) to accept the call sign he invented for you, which initially annoyed you but amused our entire checkpoint. You knew how to organize service, you bravely went on reconnaissance into enemy territory with the Sergeant, you were truly a wonderful fighter, a patriot. I am proud that fate brought us together.Military service
