I would have liked to personally accompany you home, on your final journey, but that is physically impossible… I suppress my sorrow by knowing that at least in Kharkiv I was able to say goodbye to you. I am incredibly proud to have served with such People in the 1st Reserve Battalion of Operational Purpose of the National Guard of Ukraine named after the Hero of Ukraine General Kulchytsky. We, the living, have no moral right to allow ourselves to be passive, to forget about Them, to forget about what they died for, because otherwise our native land, soaked in their blood, will curse us!
