Oleksandr B. Kholin

Born on September 20, 1983, in the village of Okhrimivka, Vovchansk district, Kharkiv region. Graduated from a general education school. Served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From September 2015, he served in the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Operational Command "East" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0536 (field post V0927), cities of Severodonetsk/Lysychansk, Luhansk region), and from April 2016 - in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Kharkiv Brigade of the Operational Command "East" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302 (field post V2830), urban-type settlement Cherkaské, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation / joint forces operation in eastern Ukraine. Participant in battles in the area of the village of Krymske, Novoaidar district, Luhansk region. On June 27, 2018, soldier Oleksandr Kholin was killed during an enemy artillery shelling as a result of a direct hit by a shell on the observation position near the village of Bohdanivka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region. Along with him, soldier Volodymyr Dyachenko and soldier Dmytro Petrushenko were also killed. On July 2, 2018, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Okhrimivka, Vovchansk district, Kharkiv region.
