- Born on January 6, 1968, in the urban-type settlement of Tomakivka, Tomakivka District, Dnipropetrovsk Region. Graduated from high school. Served mandatory military service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. Worked at the Limited Liability Company "Tomakivsky Foundry Plant" (urban-type settlement of Tomakivka). Served under contract in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Served as a number of the mortar crew of the mortar platoon of the mortar battery of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 93rd separate mechanized Kharkiv brigade of the Operational Command "East" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302 (field post V2830), urban-type settlement of Cherkaské, Novomoskovsk District, Dnipropetrovsk Region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation / joint forces operation in eastern Ukraine. On June 27, 2018, soldier Volodymyr Dyachenko was killed during an enemy artillery shelling as a result of a direct hit by a shell on the observation position near the village of Bohdanivka, Volnovakha District, Donetsk Region. Along with him, soldier Dmytro Petrushenko and soldier Oleksandr Kholin were also killed.
