- Born on December 5, 1970, in the city of Kharkiv. Graduated from the secondary school in Kharkiv, and in the 1980s - from the Kharkiv Railway Technical School (now - Kharkiv College of Transport Technologies) with a specialty in "Electrician." Worked at the enterprise "Prombud" in the city of Lebedyn, Sumy region. Served in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR. After the army, returned to the city of Lebedyn, Sumy region. Engaged in entrepreneurial activities. Was the director of the Limited Liability Company "Vodogray" (city of Lebedyn), which was involved in electrical installation, plumbing, and sewage works, as well as heating system installation. In July 2014, he voluntarily joined the ranks of the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps "Right Sector." After some time, he transferred to the 2nd Special Purpose Battalion (reserve battalion) "Donbas" of the Northern Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine (military unit 3027), where he served as a scout in the 5th section of the 3rd platoon of the 3rd special purpose company. Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Call sign "Tverdy." On January 31, 2015, the group, which included reserve soldier Myakotin, was carrying out a service-combat mission to evacuate wounded soldiers near the city of Uglegorsk in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. Despite constant shelling from separatists, Serhiy Myakotin provided cover for his unit and assisted in carrying the wounded from the battlefield. During the battle, reserve soldier Myakotin was wounded and died as a result. On February 4, 2015, he was buried at the Troitske Cemetery in the city of Lebedyn, Sumy region.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
