Taras Z. Bereziuk (Sykhivskyi)

Berezjuk Taras Zenovijovych was born on January 3, 1988 in Lviv. He studied at secondary schools No. 98 and No. 1 in Lviv. He graduated from the Faculty of History of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. In 2010-2011, he served in the military. He worked as a teacher of history and sociology, head of the economic and technological department of the Lviv Professional College of Food and Processing Industry of the National University of Food Technologies. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. As part of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade, he took part in battles for Lyman, Lysychansk and Severodonetsk. In 2017, he graduated from the National University of Defense of Ukraine named after Ivan Chernyakhovsky, received the rank of junior lieutenant. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he returned to service in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was killed on August 24, 2022. He was buried on August 30, 2022 at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. He is survived by his parents and brother.
