Vadym R. Perizhok

Vadym Ruslanovich Perizhok was born on June 14, 1998 in the city of Cherkasy. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and Pedagogical Education at Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University. He was a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and the Joint Forces Operation (JFO). With the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Vadym Perizhok's crew was eliminating Russian equipment. Together with the police of the Cherkasy region, he served as part of a combined detachment in the Kherson region. He was killed on December 7, 2022 while performing his official duties - the group fell into a mine trap of the occupiers, which triggered a buried improvised explosive device made from ammunition for large-caliber artillery. Vadym Perizhok was buried on December 9, 2022 in the village of Teolin, Uman district, Cherkasy region.
